Havas Media Group Calls 'Transformation A Constant State Of Being,' Taps Greg James To Lead It

Greg James has been named Global Chief Transformation Officer of Havas Media Group, a new role focusing on "structurally and culturally transforming" the 9,000-person global media services network.

James, who had been the agency's Global Chief Strategy Officer, reports to Global CEO Peter Mears and will be responsible for HMG's newly formed Strategic Development and Client Experience team, a global hub focused on leading future-forward strategic growth initiatives for the agency and clients.

"His remit includes serving as executive sponsor on Havas Media Group’s largest global accounts," the agency said in a statement, adding, he is also responsible for "driving operational and strategic client experience excellence" across its overall roster.

“Transformation must be a constant state of being,” Mears said in a statement explaining the need for the new role.
