Publicis Groupe Exec Newman Joins NFA Inc. To Lead Global Marketing

Toronto-based NFA Inc, parent to agencies No Fixed Address and Mischief @ No Fixed Address, has hired former Publicis Groupe executive Katie Newman as its new Partner and Global CMO.

The role is new. Mark Carpenter who had been CMO at agency No Fixed Address was recently elevated to president at NFA.

As CMO Publicis Groupe U.S. Creative Agencies, Newman oversaw big pitches by ad agencies such as Leo Burnett, Fallon, Publicis, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Newman’s career has included stops at Barkley and Crispin Porter + Bogusky before she took on a CMO role with content agency The Abundancy which was sold to Publicis in 2017. Newman joined the holding company soon after.

Dave Lafond, CEO and Co-Founder of NFA Inc, said: “We're fortunate to partner with someone of Katie’s caliber and experience as we transition to the next level.”
