Shipley Do-Nuts named Portland, Maine-based creative agency Garrand Moehlenkamp as its branding agency of record. It is the first time Shipley, founded in 1936, has invested in a professional
advertising and marketing campaign. Shipley franchises over 350 restaurants to across 10 states.
Garrand Moehlenkamp won the business after a national agency review last fall.
It began the "Do-Happy" campaign this month by launching a new Shipley site.
The move accompanies Shipley's growth strategy; the company just entered the South Carolina market
and will add locations to two additional states, Maryland and Georgia, this year.
"Our partnership with Garrand Moehlenkamp represents a major step in developing our brand as we begin
to introduce Shipley to an ever-widening consumer base," said Shipley CMO Donna Josephson. "Unlike most brands, we've never done this before. ... now it's time to bring the Shipley magic to life for a
whole new audience."
The Do-Happy campaign will also appear in Shipley Do-Nuts shops and on social media.
