Constant Contact Finalizes Purchase Of Vision6, Australian Email Software Firm

Online marketing platform Constant Contact has completed its acquisition of Vision6, an email and SMS marketing software provider based in Brisbane, Australia. Terms were not disclosed. 

Waltham, Massachusetts-based Constant Contact was spun off as a stand-alone company from its prior owner Endurance International Group Holdings Inc. following a $400 million equity investment by Clearlake Capital Group L.P. and Siris Capital LLC, last year. 

Constant Contact has evolved from being an email marketing company only to a firm that also helps small businesses with social media, SEO and other channels.  

Founded in 2001, Vision6 2001 provides marketing tools combined with data security to thousands of clients.  

"Vision6's products, people and culture are closely aligned with our own,” says Frank Vella, CEO, Constant Contact.

Vella adds that Vision6 will be “instrumental to our global growth and investment plans.”
