At first glance, email novices might feel like their career path is limited after reading the new Adobe report, “In-demand skills you need to get hired in 2022.”

But they might see chances in related areas, assuming they are not already doing those jobs, because the bulk of the top 10 job openings are related to marketing and/or IT. 

Indeed, Adobe advises: “Acquiring in-demand skills like Photoshop, video editing, and digital marketing that fit the needs of today’s companies could be the ticket to landing your dream job.”

Here are the top 10 top trending careers.

For data science specialists, the top job titles are: Data Scientist, Data Science Specialist, Data Management Analyst. Skills include creativity, time management, proactivity, data analysis and statistics, IT automation and project management.

For specialized engineers, the top job titles are: Developer, Front-end Developer, Full Stack Engineer. Skills include creativity, adaptability, software development, IT automation, project management, strong, active communication. 

For user experience professionals, the top job titles are: User Experience Designer, Product Designer, User Experience Researcher. Skills include adaptability, compliance and self-discipline, writing, IT automation, artificial intelligence. 

For experts in workplace diversity, the top job titles are: Diversity Manager, Diversity Officer, Diversity Coordinator. Skills include virtual presence etiquette, conflict management, data analysis, strong, active communication artificial intelligence, video and audio production. 

For digital content creators, the top job titles are: Content Coordinator, Writing Consultant, Podcaster.
Skills include creativity, time management, proactivity, data analysis, statistics, graphic design, project management. 

For digital marketing professionals, the top job titles are: Digital Marketing Specialist, Social Media Manager, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist.
