Scarborough: Target Shoppers Also E-Commerce Fans

  • December 12, 2005
In the last year, more than half--52 percent--of consumers who shop at the retail store Target made at least one online purchase, according to a new study by Scarborough Research. The report, which compared demographic data and shopping patterns of Target and Wal-Mart customers, concluded that Target customers are more likely to also be e-commerce users than those who purchase at Wal-Mart. Just 35 percent of Wal-Mart customers made at least one online buy in the past year. --Wendy Davis
