Portland, OR-based Sortis Holdings, has acquired D2C-focused digital agency WLCR also based in Portland. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Sortis develops brands and properties in the lodging, food and beverage and beauty and wellness sectors and has partnered with WCLR on numerous projects in the past. It owns the Ace Hotel in Portland and the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle among others. It also owns a number of restaurants in Portland, as well as coffee companies and other properties.

“The Sortis team has maintained strong partnership with WLCR since early 2020, and this acquisition comes as a natural and mutually beneficial progression of that relationship,” said Paul Brenneke, Executive Chairman of Sortis.

WLCR, founded in 2009 will work with all Sortis brands and also continue to work with select clients outside of the Sortis group.
