QuaGrowth, an email marketing agency specializing in Klaviyo and Shopify+, has been acquired by SEO agency GRO. Terms were not disclosed.
Jason Boehle, CEO of QuaGrowth, will assume the new title of director, email and SMS marketing at GRO. He will report to GRO’s co-founders, CEO Kevin Miller and COO Jon Zacharias CGO.
QuaGrowth will maintain its brand identity initially, while providing email services to new and existing QuaGrowth customers.
The purchase follows GRO’s purchase of Google Ads specialist agency TM Marketing Consultants and its launch of a Google Ads service division.
“We’ve mastered SEO, but increasingly, our customers want to connect their SEO results with different marketing funnels and tools,” Miller states. “This latest deal allows us to provide a critical and complimentary Email/SMS offering.”
Boehle adds that with “brands having to navigate a flurry of changes on the consumer privacy front, we’re seeing a tremendous shift in marketing spend, with lots of dollars moving into email, search, and other more traditional marketing funnels,”
Founded in 2020, Los Angeles-based GRO serves such clients as Olivers, Jack Mason, Opendoor, AdQuick, Comrad, Pumpkin, Public Rec, M13 and Venus et Fleur.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, QuaGrowth counts customers including Pure Relief, Homage, Renee Rouleau, and SNOW Cosmetics.
