Paramount Ad Chief Ross To Receive Center For Communciations Stanton Award

The Center for Communication this morning announced plans to honor Paramount President and Chief Advertising Revenue Officer of U.S. Advertising Sales Jo Ann Ross with its prestigious Frank Stanton Award for Excellence in Communication.

The award -- the 39th annual one -- is named after the center's founder, broadcasting pioneer and longtime CBS President Frank Stanton.

It will be presented at an evening reception November 2 in New York City.

“Jo Ann has had a groundbreaking career, and continues to reach extraordinary heights and set the bar for success in her field,” Center for Communication Chairman David Barrett said in a statement, adding: “We are thrilled to honor such a talented and successful executive who shares our passion to open doors in the media industry for young people who have been traditionally under-represented.”
