Premier Media Group (PMG), a publisher serving the Pacific Northwest, has acquired Northwest Travel & Life magazine, a bimonthly that covers several states in the region along with British Columbia, from Explorer Media. 

Included in the purchase is Meeting News Northwest and the Travel and Words writers conference, according to PMB’s 425 magazine. 

Commenting on the purchase, PMG President Josh Dunn said, “We see tremendous tailwinds in and around the travel industry.”

PMB publishes 425, 425 Business, South Sound, and South Sound Business magazines.

Northwest Travel & Life has a circulation of 30,000. It is sold via subscription, in independent bookstores, and in such stores as Fred Meyer, Safeway, Albertsons, QFC, Walgreens, Barnes & Noble, Bartell Drugs and Target.

Dunn says the staff will remain intact.
