EPublishing Acquires Multipub, Subscription Management Firm

Content management firm ePublishing has acquired Multipub, a provider of subscription-management tools. Terms were not disclosed.

The companies have worked together as partners since 2014.

The entire Multipub team will remain in place.

The companies hope to offer integrated fulfillment options and other services for B2B publishers, newspapers and data providers.

The goal is to provide “a unified, full-stack solution that drives revenue, improves productivity and increases engagement for publishers,” states ePublishing CEO Tom Chaffee.

More than 700 users manage over 500 publications and products in Multipub, the firm claims. Its subscription and recurring payment platform allows publishers to manage orders and increase efficiencies, it says.

“Now, we can more easily support those desiring a single source for their best-of-breed technology stack, because our solutions work together without extensive integration efforts,” states Lorna Fenimore, president and COO of Multipub.

ePublishing’s product suite combines online and print, editorial management, audience data, events, advertising, marketing and sales for a holistic approach, the company says.
