Gareth Goodall has been tapped as Chief Strategy Officer, Publicis Creative U.S.
He reports to Andrew Swinand, CEO of Publicis Groupe Creative and CEO of The Leo Burnett Group.
Previously, Goodall served as Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of Anomaly New York.
“Throughout his career, Gareth has established himself as a trailblazer in the industry, driving creative solutions that leverage the latest in technology with a rigorous focus on effectiveness," said Swinand. “His expertise, energy, and track record of driving results make him a strong addition to our talent bench at Publicis.”
Goodall is no stranger to Publicis. Prior to his current appointment, he held roles as head of planning at Saatchi & Saatchi New York and Fallon. His client experience includes Google, YouTube, Diageo, SONY, New York Life, Converse Orange, and Ben & Jerry's.
“When I met with Andrew, I loved the clear emphasis his leadership placed on two things: creativity and kindness. It's a powerful combination and one we all need more of,” Goodall said.
In its earnings report last week, the company said it expects organic growth this year to be in the 6% to 7% range. Net revenue for the Groupe in Q2 was €3.07 billion (about $3.12 billion), up 21% with organic growth, which factors out currency fluctuations and M&A activity of 10.3%.
