America Online's Advertising.com on Monday announced the launch of an automated rich media ad network spread out across some 55 online publishers. The network covers multiple verticals, but is mainly
focused on entertainment and sports sites. Advertising.com has standardized its ad specifications for the network and has established preferred partnerships with technology vendors Eyeblaster,
PointRoll, and DART Motif. Advertisers will be able to create and serve rich-media advertisements from these vendors without additional serving fees. Marketers using the service are able to choose
from floating ads as well as auto-expandable and sound-enabled ad units.
