Scribd, a subscription service that offers access to magazines, ebooks, podcasts and other forms of content, has hired Ariana Hellebuyck as chief marketing officer, a new position in the company.
Hellebuyck will be tasked with helping the firm “elevate our existing marketing structure," states Trip Adler, co-founder, and CEO of Scribd.
Previously, Hellebuyck was vice president of marketing at Life360, a family safety subscription business listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Prior to that, Hellebuyck served NerdWallet, driving brand strategy and advertising.
Scribd offers a service that it says connects storytellers with their audience. Readers can have access for $11.99 per month.
