Martin Gauthier has been appointed the first Sid Lee CEO in Canada. Sid Lee’s employees in Montreal and Toronto will form a single Canadian entity. A Sid Lee vet, Gauthier has worked on various accounts, including Sobeys, Lowe’s, SAQ and Loto-Québec, and collaborated internationally on Samsung, adidas, The North Face and Cirque du Soleil.

Philippe Meunier, co-founder of Sid Lee, called Gauthier’s “business acumen and leadership second to none.”

The two Canadian shops have been creative allies for various brands, including Unity Technology, Unilever and Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. These new alliances are in addition to Netflix Canada, Maple Leaf Foods and H&R Block.

The agency has offices in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Paris, London, Los Angeles and Seattle.
