VMLY&R, PCI Productions Develop Multimedia Services To U.S. Government

Ad agency VMLY&R has partnered with PCI Productions, an Alabama-based federal contracting company owned by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, to develop multimedia services for the U.S. government.

The alliance, sanctioned by the Small Business Administration, offers clients a veteran ad leader and the expertise of a 27-year-old niche business focused on integrated marketing and recruitment.

PCI Productions, based in Huntsville, Alabama, is part of the Poarch Band of Creek Indian’s diverse business portfolio. PCI has produced specialized multimedia solutions for NASA, the National Park Service and the U.S. Navy.

Richard Williams, president PCI-Productions, called it a “mentor/protégé” relationship that will allow his company to give clients access to “proprietary talent and tools that will be valuable to their operations. We will also be able to significantly increase our offerings in terms of scope and scale.”

Chris Edmondson, executive director, VMLY&R, said: “We anticipate immediate value to each of our respective client portfolios and look forward to pursuing new contracts and capabilities together.”

The partnership reports it can meet various procurement requirements or be a single source for contracts up to $100M.

The Poarch Band of Creek Indian is Alabama’s only federally recognized tribe. Besides PCI, its business holdings include several deluxe hotel and casinos operated under the Wind Creek Hospitality Brand, farming and food-processing enterprises and federal-contracting firms.
