Inkoo Kang Named TV Critic Of 'The New Yorker'

Inkoo Kang is joining The New Yorker as its TV critic effective Oct. 10..

Kang replaces Doreen St. Félix, who has covered TV since 2019 and will write for the magazine on a variety of subjects, New Yorker Editor David Remnick and newyorker.com Editor Michael Luo announced to the staff.  

Naomi Fry will also write about television occasionally along with her other writing.  

Previously, Kang was TV critic at The Washington Post. Prior to joining the Post, Kang was the television critic at The Hollywood Reporter. In addition, Kang covered TV for MTV News and was a staff writer at Slate

Kang lives in the San Francisco area.
