Stagwell Media Network Expands, Rebrands

Stagwell has expanded and rebranded its Stagwell Media Network, which has been renamed the Brand Performance Network to reflect the fact that the offering now combines media, creative and commerce capabilities.

The rebranding follows an August agency reorganization when creative agencies Crispin Porter Bogusky, Forsman & Bodenfors, Observatory and Vitro were combined into the Stagwell Media Network. Those agencies will retain their individual brands as they collaborate on bigger projects within the Brand Performance Network.

The makeover also comes amid significant growth for the media network—in Q2 it posted 28% organic net revenue growth, making it Stagwell’s fastest growing unit.

“With this expansion, we’ve fully integrated creative and media, and are scaling our growing expertise in e-commerce solutions, creating a group able to activate the full equation of modern brand performance,” stated Stagwell Chairman and CEO Mark Penn.

The Brand Performance Network now operates across 60 locations in 20 countries with 6,000 employees. Stagwell says the network manages close to $5 billion in media and commerce.

BPN’s new identity is being designed by Gale, also part of the Brand Performance Network.
