Podcast publisher iHeartMedia and Fox Sports Radio (FSR) have launched “The Book of Joe, an iHeartPodcast original. 

The podcast borrows its name from the forthcoming book “The Book of Joe,” featuring commentary by three-time MLB Manager of the Year Joe Maddon and sportswriter Tom Verducci.

Airing through the World Series, the podcast will allow fans to learn real stories behind postseason games. 

“We are here to tell you what we think, not what we’ve heard,” shared Maddon. “No regurgitation and original thoughts are valued.”

“Like its namesake book, the podcast will be full of surprises and insight,” said Verducci.  

Verducci adds, “From game strategy to baseball history to leadership lessons - and maybe to some rock n’ roll and classic cars - we’ll cover more ground than a Gold Glove shortstop on the most illuminating and interesting podcast in baseball.”
