Paubox Adds HIPAA-Compliant Email Tools To Marketing Suite

Paubox has added an intelligent drip campaign functionality to its Paubox Marketing suite that it says will allow marketers and healthcare providers to send personalized, HIPAA-compliant emails.

The visual drip campaign builder helps users create automated email workflows to nurture recipients with relevant messaging. A new drag-and-drop email design builder has also been introduced.

“Unlike other industries, where personalized email marketing has long been a staple of marketing campaigns, healthcare has been slow to adopt this powerful tool because of privacy concerns,” says Hoala Greevy, CEO and founder of Paubox. 

However, Paubox Marketing was “designed exclusively for healthcare,” Greevy adds. 

The firm applies “the same email encryption used by more than 4,000 Paubox Email Suite customers to marketing campaigns,” helping healthcare providers send HIPAA-compliant campaigns. 

The new capabilities include enrollment triggers that let users email existing members of a list or newly enrolled members. 

In addition, the platform provides “conditional branches” that allow providers to send contacts in a drip campaign on different nurture paths based on their actions. Emails can be personalized with data like the patient’s name, other contact information and PHI (protected health information). 

For instances, diabetics could receive an email drip campaign with information about healthy eating.

Meanwhile, the new email design for the toolbox includes an image library, flexible customization and preview options.
