BBH Dublin Teams With ICAD To Mentor Future Ad Talent

BBH Dublin's support of Ireland's creative talent is driving a partnership between the agency and the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD)'s Upstarts program.

The idea is to foster future talent in the ad industry. BBH Dublin will provide both financial support and offer expertise to Upstarts, a six-month effort that teaches practical skills, such as how to respond to a brief, while offering mentoring and networking opportunities. The program ends with an exhibition of students’ work.

Candidate compete for places each year.

The sponsorship in Ireland is an extension of its efforts in London, which houses the shop's other creative placement program, The Barn. A full-time, 10-month educational push, The Barn mentors eight young creatives.

Karen Martin, CEO, BBH London and Dublin, said “nurturing creativity and emerging talent is in BBH’s DNA ...  I love the creative energy and potential we’re seeing across the industry in Ireland.”
