VMLY&R has hired Abbie Baehr as Chief Strategy Officer of its New York office.
Key client account key include Dell, New Balance, Coca-Cola, Colgate, Advil and Ford.
Baehr reports to Ian Davidson, Chief Strategy Officer, North America. He predicted Baehr would be a “valuable asset” and deliver “groundbreaking work.”
Previously, she served as Chief Strategy Officer, North America, for Crispin Porter + Bogusky New York.
An ad vet, Baehr has worked for various high-end brands, such as Coca-Cola, American Express, Verizon and Microsoft.
Prior to CP+B, she served in strategy roles at McCann Worldgroup. Her appointment follows the hire of Andrea Ring, named Global Chief Strategy Officer earlier this year.
“I feel like I’ve been given a treasure trove of talent, and I am excited to apply that to truly transformative work,” Baehr said.
The agency recently tapped two executives to handle the Coca-Cola Company accounts. Stephanie DeCelles has been promoted to global client lead and Chase Cornett is named Global Chief Strategy Officer.
