'Time' Promotes 3 On Leadership Team, Plans Values Partnership Division

Time has named its first chief impact officer: Sue Suh, and is launching a division to drive partnerships and support from organization aligned with its values. 

The new unit will build on relationships with nonprofits and other organization that have supported Time’s journalism, it says. 

Suh served such organization as The Rockefeller Foundation and the United Nations.

The move comes four years after Time became an independent company. 

In addition, Time has named Ali Hernandez as chief human resources officer. Prior to joining Time in 2019, Hernandez served in HR at at the Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald Media Company and the Knight Foundation.

In addition, Dana Rosen has been named Time’s chief legal and strategy officer, expanding her responsibilities to cover Time’s security and facilities departments. Rosen will be hiring a new head of security while continuing to oversee the legal team.

Rosen joined Time in July 2019 after serving as general counsel of ALM and Wenner Media. 

In another promotion, Rob Foppiani has become executive vice president, finance, to lead the day to day global financial operations. 

Foppiani joined Time Inc. in 2012 as part of the consumer marketing team. Prior to that, he focused on the music royalties industry as a financial planner for BMI.
