Penske Media Corp., whose brands include Rolling Stone, Billboard and WWD, has acquired ATX TV, a creator of programming and experiences for television fans. The terms were not
disclosed.
ATX TV’s core team will remain in place, including co-founders and co-presidents Emily Gipson and Caitlin McFarland. In addition, Laura
Kincaid will continue as director of operations and Jennifer Morgan as director of programming.
Founded 12 years ago to create a television festival in Austin, Texas, ATX TV has evolved into year-round provider of television programming. ATX Television Festival Season 12 will run from June 1-4, 2023.
