Charlotte, NC-based creative agency Wray Ward has promoted John Roberts to Chief Creative Officer.

The promotion is part of a broader management reorganization that the agency announced in September. It includes Jennifer Appleby, previously president and CCO shifting to the role of executive chair and Kent Panther stepping up to president and CEO. The moves are effective in January.

Roberts joined the agency in 2003 as executive creative director. Earlier he served at Y&R in New York and TBWA\Chiat\Day in St. Louis as well as at several local agencies.

Wray Ward is specialist in the home and building category with a client roster that includes GE, Sunbelt, Velux Skylights and more.
