AOP Works With Media Firms to Drive Environmental, Social Governance

The Association of Online Publishers (AOP) has formed strategic partnerships with GetZeN and Right Thing Media in an effort to support the digital publishing community in its effort for  environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) 

Right Thing Media is working with AOP on a Framework that will provide AOP members with a unified approach to ESG, and to help shape their sustainability strategies and improve the media supply chain.  

This will be followed by a Charter to  help AOP members work with their agencies and clients for improvements across all areas of ESG. 

“Right Thing Media’s ongoing work with AOP has given us detailed insights into publisher needs as they look to reduce the impact advertising and media supply chains have on the climate,” states Tim Faircliff, Chief Operating Officer at Right Thing Media.

Faircliff adds. “The ESG Framework and Charter addresses these needs through a robust, transparent, and unified response that will accelerate the publishing industry’s progress towards a sustainable future.”

In addition, GetZeN is providing AOP members with access to its wellness programs at a 50% discounted rate. This includes its product, ‘How Are You?’

 

ESG is important to companies in attracting new employees and retaining current team members, AOP says.
