Gonez Media Acquires Toronto's 'Now' Magazine

Gonez Media (GMI), a Canadian online media company, has acquired Toronto’s Now Magazine. 

The publication will be relaunched on Tuesday as a digital-only product called Now, via nowtoronto.com. 

Brandon Gonez, CEO of GMI, claims that this “elevates Gonez Media to become a true dominant player in Canada's digital media landscape.”

The acquisition comes two years after  The acquisition comes exactly two years after the launch of The Brandon Gonez Show, GMI's inaugural online news series. 

The relaunched product will feature increased reporting focus on arts, music and entertainment, reflecting its 42-year-old roots.

"We want to bring a fresh, modern perspective to an important city publication that we all know and love," Gonez adds.
