Radio ad sales rep firm Interep Tuesday said its new business development efforts generated $84 million in new radio advertising dollars during 2005, an increase of 16 percent from 2004. More than 75
percent of the increase was placed on stations represented by Interep. The incremental radio ad sales were generated by a combination of teams focusing on new-to-radio business, as well as those
focused on converting a greater share of budget for radio from among existing radio advertisers.
