Vogue is cutting one print issue this year to give it a total of 10.
The newest edition, with a cover featuring actress Florence Pugh, is dubbed the Winter issue, a first for the magazine.
“New Vogue is a ‘winter’ issue—something I’ve not seen on a cover before,” writer Amy Odell tweeted last week. “So, Vogue is cutting the number of print issues this year? Since 2020, they’ve published 11 issues/year, so now it’s 10 or less?”
The answer can be found in the online print subscription form: It says, “Vogue publishes ten issues per year.” The offer is $15 per year.
Business of Fashion reports that Vogue “first departed from its monthly schedule in 2020, when it combined its June and July issues into one.”
