Ohio is the latest state to offer online sports betting — and Betway, an online betting and gaming brand, is ready.
Deutsch New York has created Betway's first U.S. marketing campaign: “For the Sport of It.”
The cross-platform campaign, which runs in film, paid social, digital and OOH, immerses fans in their favorite games. Bettors are placed in the heat of action.
The new 50-second spot highlights sports-obsessed spectators who live for the games. They like to win, but they also like being part of a community of like-minded fans.
“We wanted to introduce Betway in a way that speaks directly to sports fans in the U.S. and understands there is a story behind every bet,” said Syd Harris, director of grand and content for Digital Gaming Corporation, USA.
Betway is part of Digital Gaming Corp, a division of Super Group Limited.
Deutsch New York’s Chief Creative Officer, Samira Ansari, added: “When we bet on a game, we become fully invested in it. We’re no longer simply watching to see who wins or loses. We’re suddenly our own player, which we worked to capture in this campaign.”
In September 2022, Digital Gaming Corp awarded its U.S. creative and media responsibilities to Deutsch NY expanding their partnership.
