New York-based agency Known today announced the appointment of Kasha Cacy as its first Chief Media Officer.
Cacy will lead Known's burgeoning global media practice leveraging the company’s proprietary tools and platforms across paid, owned and earned media channels for both brand and performance campaigns.
She is also tasked with accelerating the growth of Known’s media services business and driving expansion of its advanced media capabilities. She reports to chairman and CEO Kern Schireson.
Cacy most recently served as the global CEO of Big Village Group (formerly Known as Engine), a marketing services and advertising technology group.
Prior to Engine, she was US CEO at IPG media agency UM. She’s credited with helping drive the agency’s drive the agency’s data/analytics and content capabilities. During her tenure the shop won significant new business assignments from Coca-Cola, Spotify and Hulu among others. Cacy began her career at Accenture, designing and building technology systems for clients in the communications industry such as Verizon and AT&T.
