Gmail appears to back up and running after a brief outage Monday morning.

According to downdetector, complaints spiked at 9 a.m. ET, but quickly declined.

“I'm getting 502 server errors just now from my web based gmail accounts. Android app also seems to not pull down any emails. Very rare to see this, but concerning,” wrote Alex Yamane on downdetector around 9 a.m.
