KFC is bringing back its hit product from almost a decade ago, the bun-less KFC Double Down Sandwich.

The chain will offer the sandwich on March 6 for four weeks. The Double Down features 100% white meat fillets, two slices of cheese, and two pieces of hickory-smoked bacon with either the Colonel’s real mayonnaise or spicy sauce.

"The Double Down is one of the most buzzworthy fast food menu items ever," said Nick Chavez, CMO, KFC U.S. "After nearly a decade of people begging for its return, we're embracing the chaos, bringing back our most iconic sandwich ever for just four weeks."

And for those who aren’t ready for the Double Down, KFC is introducing the Bacon & Cheese Chicken Sandwich, a double-breaded, extra crispy, white meat fillet, a slice of cheese, bacon, mayonnaise and pickles on a brioche bun. That sandwich will also also be available at KFC on March 6 for a limited-time only.

KFC has also introduced an ad, via MullenLowe, that plays on the absurd abundance of the Double Down sandwich.
