Braze and Rackspace Technology have expanded their partnership with a multi-year agreement.
The enterprise arrangement is designed to “help Braze achieve improved cost predictability and
economies of scale while providing Rackspace Technology predictable growth and the ability to make long-term investments in Braze and (Rackspace’s) ObjectRocket solution,” says Jon Hyman,
co-founder and CTO of Braze.
Braze has been a Rackspace ObjectRocket customer for several years, using the technology to manage its MongoDB databases. Rackspace
is a multi-cloud technology services company.
“From both a delivery and financial perspective, the alignment we built and collaboration from the top down
between our organizations were key factors in working together to help meet Braze’s business needs,” says Josh Prewitt, Chief Product Officer at Rackspace.
In other Braze-related news, the company has added Fernando Machado, NotCo Global Chief Marketing Officer, to its board of directors. Fernando will replace Matthew Jacobson, who joined
the board in 2017.
Doug Pepper will continue to represent ICONIQ, a large Braze shareholder, on the board.
