Marketing automation platform ActiveCampaign is opening a facility in Costa Rica, joining such technology companies as Microsoft, Intel, Akamai and Smartsheet.
The new hub will be ready for occupancy on May 15 and will have 100 employees within 12 months.
The facility will support businesses that need resources in both English and Spanish, the company says. Based in Chicago, ActiveCampaign also has offices in Brazil and Colombia.
The company offers email and CRM services.
"Being closer to our global customers means more frequent feedback and fruitful collaboration with the businesses we serve," says Jason VandeBoom, founder and CEO of ActiveCampaign.
One client is Bodhi Surf + Yoga. ActiveCampaign offers services in email marketing and CRM.
The company says it was able to offer "personalized surfing and yoga experiences" in Costa Rica and "scale these experiences through the help of ActiveCampaign," said Travis Bays, co-founder at Bodhi Surf+Yoga.
