The first electric Corvette sold at auction for $1.1 million to car dealer and NASCAR race team owner Rick Hendrick at the 2023 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction. The money will go to education
nonprofit DonorsChoose, which helps teachers in low-income communities fund classroom projects. "
The cars at auction are pre-production prototypes. So Hendrick gets to choose the color of the
