American Business Media, the national trade association for business-to-business publishers, announced a new partnership with Everybody Wins!, a national foundation that promotes children's literacy, as part of the ABM's centennial celebration.

Under the year-long partnership, ABM will encourage its members to make financial contributions and volunteer to participate in programs established by Everybody Wins!, which teams adults with underprivileged school children.

ABM was also honored for its centennial by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who proclaimed January 12 to be "American Business Media Day" in recognition of the role that business media has played in American industry.

The association also unveiled a new centennial logo that will appear for one year on all ABM materials, and announced a lineup of various activities to be held throughout the year as part of the celebration. Last week, ABM announced it had hired DiMassimo Inc., as its new advertising agency of record to "raise awareness of ABM and position business media as an essential component of any smart marketing plan," said ABM President-CEO Gordon Hughes.
