Katharine Painter has been promoted to media director of Apollo Partners, one of three key appointments announced this week by the independent San Francisco-based media agency.

Painter, who joined Apollo in 2021 as an associate media direct, previously held media planning and strategy roles at Canvass Worldwide, Digitas and M/H VCCP.

The agency also announced another M/H vet, Arthi Veeraragavan, has joined as head of analytics from vice president-data and analytics at Tierney. She previously served as director of analytics at M/H with Apollo Founder Eric Perko, who launched the agency in 2020.

Veeraragavan reports to Apollo Managing Director Alison Mayes.

Also at Apollo, Harry Drake joins as media supervisor from media manager at Merkle's DWA unit.

The three-year-old shop recently was named media AOR for Nature's Bakery, RedKap and Bolt.
