Amazon has added 14 NBC and Telemundo local news streams to its Fire TV devices.

U.S.-based users of the devices can now access local news and original content from NBC and Telemundo local broadcasters via free, ad-supported streaming (FAST) channels.

The local NBC news broadcasters include those in New York City, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Miami, Philadelphia, San Diego, South Florida, Connecticut, Dallas-Fort Worth and Washington, D.C. Participating Noticias Telemundo stations are based in the Northeast, California, Texas and Florida.

Amazon’s News’s FAST app on Fire TV is integrated into all Fire TV steaming media players and smart TVs in the U.S. Users can select the national and local news sources most relevant to them. Echo Show customers can also watch local news channels in 250 cities from than than 300 local news providers, using Alexa.
