Strike-proof TV network programming is where the ABC Television Network is headed this fall -- with virtually wall-to-wall unscripted TV programs and two TV scripted series in repeats mode.
ABC will have one new series, “The Golden Bachelor” -- an unscripted dating-competition show, riffing off the original “Bachelor” -- where older women compete for an older gentleman looking for a second chance for love in their retirement years.
It airs on Monday’s at 10 PM after ABC's long-standing, perennial unscripted series, “Dancing with the Stars.”
There are plenty of game shows on the prime-time schedule, including two shows at 8 PM -- “Celebrity Jeopardy!” on Tuesdays and “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” on Thursdays.
Thursday night also includes game shows “Press Your Luck” (9 PM) and “The $100,000 Pyramid” (10 PM).

Sports content will include six “Monday Night Football” games -- three simulcast with sister network ESPN and three exclusive games. The lineup will include the returning Saturday series of college football games.
