Taco Bell Brings Back Fan Favorites, Intros Steak Chile Verde Fries

Taco Bell is introducing one dish, Steak Chile Verde Fries, and bringing back the Enchirito, returning after winning a fan vote last year.

Chile Verde Fries are available now through June 28. The fries feature a new Chile Verde sauce that incorporates jalapeno, lime and herbs. The entrée sells for $4.49.

In addition, Taco Bell is introducing the Steak Chile Verde Fries Burrito, which consists of the same components, but is wrapped in a warm tortilla for $3.99.

The introduction comes after Taco Bell brought back Nacho Fries last month. First served in 2018, Nacho Fries featured “Mexican seasoning” plus nacho cheese dipping sauce. At the time, it was Taco Bell’s first foray into French fries.

There has been talk of Taco Bell making Nacho fries a permanent addition to the menu, but the chain has yet to confirm that, according to The Street. Nacho Fries became Taco Bell’s best-selling menu item ever in 2018, selling more than 53 million orders in less than two months.

In addition, Taco Bell is bringing back the Volcano Menu at the end of June. That menu includes the Volcano Burrito, Volcano Taco and the option to add Lava Sauce to any item.

Finally, the Enchirito, a dish with seasoned beef, refried beans and onions wrapped in a flour tortilla, is returning at a price of $3.79. The Enchirito won the Double Decker Taco in a fan vote last year for which dish would return for a limited time.
