Several General Motors vehicles are featured prominently in the upcoming "Barbie" movie.
The all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV SS is featured in a 30-second spot on Chevrolet’s web page for the not-yet-for-sale Blazer.
“One legendary icon deserves another,” according to the website. “No spoilers here, but this might be the friendship of a lifetime. Catch Blazer EV and Barbie together in theaters July 21."
The spot shows the two girls pulling up in the Blazer and ordering Barbie to get into the vehicle. She dives into the back seat and the door slams shut. The vehicle is shown driving through traffic before its is joined by a pair Chevy SUVs.
The video shows the driver activating the real-life Blazer EV SS’s WOW (Wide Open Watts) Mode, enabling a 0-to-60 mph acceleration time under four seconds.

The movie will also feature a pink Chevrolet Corvette. Although movie teasers show the vehicle as resembling a 1956 Chevy Corvette, it might actually be a new EV, as evidenced by the blue “EV” in the Chevrolet script on the side, as well as a charging port.
Meanwhile, Barbie’s beau Ken, played by Ryan Gosling, drives a GMC Hummer EV pickup.
Both of those vehicles are playable in the Forza Horizon 5 video game by Playground Games, according to social media posts.
