Former Jaguar Land Rover CMO Resurfaces In Racing World

Longtime automotive CMO Kim McCullough, who left Jaguar Land Rover just as the COVID-19 pandemic was beginning, has resurfaced in the racing world.

McCullough joins Parella Motorsport Holdings as chief marketing officer. She will oversee marketing and public relations for all PMH properties, race series and SpeedTour events.

A longtime racing enthusiast and amateur driver, she has competed in rally driving events including the East African Safari Classic and Mille Miglia. She has judged and participated in classic car competitions throughout the country, including Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and The Amelia.

McCullough left Jaguar Land Rover, where she was vice president of marketing, in April 2020. Her departure ended her second time around at the company. McCullough was appointed to her last position in September 2014, and her responsibilities included leading distinct Jaguar and Land Rover marketing operations, including brand strategy, advertising, digital, experiential and partnerships.

Prior to this role, she held the position of brand vice president, Land Rover North America since March 2011.

McCullough says she has known Tony Parella, CEO of PMH, for 10 years and has been working as a consultant for him for the past year.

“He’s had so much growth, it’s phenomenal what he’s done,” McCullough tells Marketing Daily. “He’s a really good person and it’s important to me that I work with good people. I’m in a place where I can choose to do what I want, and this feels right.”

She says she sees a lot of opportunity for growth at the company and has already developed a marketing plan for the next year.

“This position really connects a lot of my interests and things I’ve been working on already,” McCullough adds.

McCullough takes on the new role immediately as PMH continues its busy summer racing schedule with upcoming stops at Nashville’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix on Aug. 3-5 and Summit Point Motorsports Park Aug. 17-20. PMH annually hosts more than 20 SpeedTour events at America’s most famous racing circuits.
