Leaning into the brand’s distinction as a smooth summer treat, Mars’ Dove Ice Cream introduced a line of limited-edition silky pajamas.
Dove teamed up with southern California designer and founder of clothing brand Mien Studios, Lisa Hsieh, to create a series of pajama sets in such styles as classic button-down pajama tops with reclaimed buttons, tanks, and wide-leg pajama bottoms.
The comfort-focused lounge and sleepwear line was introduced for International Self-Care Day on July 24, along with suggestions it should be worn while eating ice cream on the couch and streaming comfort TV. The silky pajama sets were restocked for the final time last Friday, and are selling for $25 for a set, or half that for individual pieces, available only through the website https://mienstudios.com/collections/doveicecream.

Mien and Dove are also offering to send a box of ice cream to customers to ease the anticipated two-week wait time for the PJs.
Dove reports it showed restraint by avoiding prominently featuring its logo on the loungewear, instead alluding to the brand through color schemes inspired by its new packaging. The company also claims the collection is eco-friendly, using “deadstock or existing fabric and trims sourced from local, family-owned vendors" -- in keeping with Dove's value of sustainability evident in its support of female vanilla farmers in Madagascar.
Mars Ice Cream marketing director Jayesh Shah touted the value of "collaborating with an eco-conscious, female-led company like Mien Studios,” on the collection to showcase how the brand is “doubling down on providing ice cream fans with the opportunity for more moments of indulgence, self-care, and everyday happiness while supporting our broader purpose of building the world we want tomorrow."
