Designer Christian Siriano is taking the cocktail dress literally.
The latest entry in Bombay Sapphire gin’s "Saw This, Made This" campaign, in addition to a new spot, is an original cocktail couture gown, inspired by the Bombay Sapphire French 75 cocktail and showcased at this year's New York Fashion Week.
Here’s the twist: It’s also alcohol-infused. Created with Bombay’s blue-tinged bottle in mind, a dye artist incorporates the gin in the dress-making process for custom gin-dyed accents.
Siriano will also be releasing a limited-edition capsule collection, inspired by three famous gin cocktails: the Bombay Sapphire Gin & Tonic, Martini, and Collins. The collection will be available for purchase on christiansiriano.com this fall.
Jaime Keller, brand director of Bombay Sapphire, said: "'Saw This, Made This' has always been about finding new and unique points of inspiration. Christian has shown that imagination shows no limits and that visual prompts can turn into tangible, beautiful creations."

Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, Ariana Grande and Julianne Moore have all worn Siriano designs.
In addition to the singular couture, BBDO produced a 30-second spot featuring Siriano. The cross-media campaign is running on Paramount, Peacock, Max and Hulu, social, digital and out-of-home.
"As creatives, we’re always looking for new things to be inspired by," added Alex Booker, executive creative director at BBDO.
Film director Baz Luhrmann debuted the "Saw This" campaign last year.
Bombay Sapphire, a premium gin owned by Bacardi, is distilled in Laverstoke, Hampshire, England. The gin brand passed the 5 million case sale mark for the first time in 2022, according to The Spirits Business. Bombay Sapphire’s growth was boosted by the release of Citron Pressé, a lemon-flavored gin.
