The new categories include best integrated campaign and best public service campaign. Submissions in the integrated advertising category must include one magazine component and one or more other media elements.
"We expanded the Kelly Award categories based on input from key advertisers and past winners," said Ellen Oppenheim, the MPA's executive vice president and chief marketing officer. "Now we can better showcase the breadth of exceptional magazine ad campaigns that are submitted every year. Furthermore, the best integrated campaign was created to illustrate that magazines play a vital role in generating results within the media mix."
