The Springfield (Missouri) Business Journal will have a new publisher on Jan. 1:  Marty Goodnight.

Goodnight, the former associate publisher,  replaces Jennifer Jackson. In addition, Goodnight will take over ownership of the title from Jackson in January 2026, according the Springfield News-Leader.  

Jackson became publisher of the Business Journal in 2011 upon the retirement of her mother, Dianne Elizabeth Osis, who founded the title in 1980. Jackson assumed ownership in 2016.

Goodnight served as associate publisher from 2016 to 2020. Goodnight now works as director of marketing at Classy Llama, an ecommerce agency, the News-Leadercontinues.
