McDonald's All American Games Highlight High School Basketball Stars

Game on! Today McDonald’s announced that its All American Games and Jam Fest, which feature the best of boys’ and girls’ high school basketball players nationwide, will return to Houston on April 2.

The games, which take place at the Toyota Center, pit the top 48 high school all-stars against one another on the court.

The McDonald's All American Games Selection Committee has announced the 728 girls and boys basketball players nominated for the chance to play in the Games this April. Players are from 43 states and the District of Columbia and were nominated by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals or members of the Games Selection Committee using criteria that includes such criteria as "fundamental skill level, basketball IQ, Competitive motor, potential for continued growth and development and athleticism."

Next, the Games Selection Committee, made up of top high school analysts, prep scouts, media and basketball coaches, will cull down the nominees to the final selected 48 players named to the Games' rosters. The top 24 girls and 24 boys will be revealed Jan. 23 on "NBA Today" between 3-4 P.M. EST on ESPN and announced across ESPN's various social and digital platforms.

Tickets for the 2024 All American Games and Jam Fest will be available Jan. 23 at mcdaag.com. For those who can't make it in real life, the Jam Fest will be broadcast on Monday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. EST on ESPN2. The 2024 All American Girls Game will air on Tuesday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. EST on ESPN2 and the Boys Game will immediately follow on ESPN at 9 p.m. EST.

Proceeds from the games benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
