California Olive Ranch Selects Argonaut As Creative AOR

Olive-oil brand California Olive Ranch named ad agency Argonaut as its creative agency of record.

Based in San Francisco and New York, the agency will handle strategic and creative work that enhances California Olive Ranch market visibility and differentiation. The company says it is the No. 2 player in EVOO, the highest grade of natural extra virgin olive oil.

"It’s not everyday that you are entrusted to build a brand story for a product currently sitting on your kitchen counter, so this opportunity was wildly exciting for us. The California ethos is alive and well in this brand, which is full of passion, soul and uncompromising standards,” said Katie Miller, Chief Growth Officer, Argonaut.

The agency says the first work for the client will appear this fall.

Founded in 1998, California Olive Ranch is the largest grower of olives for extra virgin olive oil in the state. The brand sells a variety of oils, sauces and vinegars under the California Olive Ranch and Lucini labels.



The olive-oil category in the U.S. is projected to be a $13.3 billion industry by 2028, reports Forbes Business Insights.

Argonaut was recently chosen as creative AOR for Jefferson's Bourbon and Código 1530 Tequila. It also works with Cricket Wireless, Fitbit and NerdWallet.
