Mercedes-Benz Launches G-Class 'Diamonds' Limited Edition

Mercedes-Benz is launching a global campaign tied to its limited edition “Stronger Than Diamonds” G-Class.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the video shows an elegantly dressed woman opening a jewelry box to find a Mercedes-Benz vehicle key fob. She goes on to thoroughly examine the vehicle’s exterior and interior.

Set to a cover of “Fever,” the 60-second video from teamx is running on Mercedes-Benz' social media channels.

Production of the vehicle is limited to just 300 units worldwide. A special rosewood grey paint was developed exclusively for this special edition. A 0.25-carat diamond is set into all four stainless steel door locking pins, while the exterior door handles feature an embossed diamond logo.

Even the vehicle key has a unique design, with a genuine silver badge bearing the name of the special edition and diamond insignia.



The front passenger grab handle and illuminated door sills are adorned with finely crafted “Stronger than Diamonds” branding in stainless steel. Each vehicle includes a custom indoor car cover in an exclusive design.

Customers receive a certificate from the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) assuring that the diamonds originate from ethically, socially and ecologically responsible sources.
